Jean: I am mad about fiber arts and gardening in equal measure. October-April you will find me indoors spinning, knitting, and creating needle-felt artwork. By the 1st of May, I put the wool away and, until the end of September, you'll find me out in the garden or in the greenhouse with dirty hands and knees. I am an explorer in both pursuits - eager to learn and to try something new. Join me and please comment as I recount my successes, failures, and "meh" moments along the way. Backstory: I live in a small town, on a small island, in N.W. Washington State. I've been married at least 150 years to a great guy named Bob, am the proud mom of 2 grown sons, and the doting Nana to 5 exceptional grandchildren.
